High School

What your student will become is shaped by his or her influences, the truth they wrestle with, and the possibilities they envision. Rooted in faith, we prepare students by instilling truth, sharpening minds with critical thinking, and deepening character leading to an exemplary life that takes them into their best future.

Preparing Students for the Future

If we do not know where we want to go, we do not know in which direction to head, and we may just end up where we never intended.  As a school, we recognize the importance of determining our end destination to guide us during each step of the journey.  A child’s education, from Pre-K through high school, is indeed a journey. The Cornerstone Christian School seeks to partner with parents in guiding students along that journey toward graduation.  In keeping with Cornerstone’s stated mission, vision, and values, we work and pray towards the goal that each of our graduates will possess the skills and attributes outlined in our profile of an ideal graduate.

Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.
— Philippians 3:12 (NIV)

From Our Community

CCS has been the best choice of schools for our family! Our two sons have flourished academically, socially and spiritually because of the solid teaching and instruction they’ve received from teachers, coaches and faculty who really love their students! Thank you CCS!!!!
— Paula Bearchell, Parent
On the outside, Cornerstone gave me English classes, math classes, band practice, cheerleading practice, retreats, sleepovers, homework, essays, and projects. But on the inside, I have gained much more than I ever thought I would. Through Bible classes, leadership classes, one-on-one conversations with teachers and prayer meetings through lunches ... I am finally confident in who God has made me to be. I can say without a doubt that I am beautiful. I matter because God created me.
— Sarah, Class of 2011
One of my favorite parts of my job is helping our high school students discover their next steps after high school. I love designing each year’s workshops and Career Chats based on student interests! I enjoy helping our students explore opportunities to discover God’s call upon their lives. It’s more than college planning, it is planning for life!
